I was introduced to the prayers of Howard Wills in 2002. I walked into a gathering in Beverly Hills, CA with a physical condition I was told would be life-long and walked out without it. I was elated. Not surprisingly, I wanted to learn everything about this healing technology to enhance my life and the lives of others. I began incorporating Howard Wills’ first set of prayers – The Gift of Life – into my morning practice.
I became like a scientist with the prayers – experimenting with what would happen if I read them 10 x times or 25 x times or 43 x times or 108 x times. Sometimes I would rise at 4:00am and read the prayers til noon. The results were always phenomenal. In one instance, after reading the prayers 25 x times, I felt like I was inside a giant block of crystal peace. I felt lifted into another realm or stratosphere. Pure bliss and joy.
I prayed for all those I loved – my family, friends, boyfriend, clients, and anyone at all who asked me to pray for them, as well as for all of humanity, past, present and future. The practice of saying these prayers brought me immense joy. It felt like a calling.
I would sometimes receive guidance while reading the prayers. One morning, I felt the call to give the prayers to a neighbour. I hesitated. I didn’t know her very well at all. The guidance kept coming so I printed up a set of prayers and walked them over to her apartment and knocked on her door. When she opened the door, I said something like: I pray daily and was guided to give you these. If they are not right for you.…” She grabbed them out of my hand and closed the door. A week or so later, she came over to see me. She thanked me for giving her the prayers. She said they had given her peace and re-opened communication with her family with whom she had been estranged.
I have experienced many blessings through working with these prayers and I have witnessed many miracles. This work is, as Howard Wills shares, about ‘going beyond the human’. That means, going beyond the ego mind and all its conditioning, and living from the heart. Being like God – neutral, loving, supportive and wanting the best for all others, including yourself, at all times.
